Manufactured to sustain consistent high-precision modulation in strenuous industrial control loops, the Becker RPDA Rotary Piston Double Acting Actuator is engineered to meet strict performance benchmarks for heavy-duty valve operation. At its core sits a custom-tailored crank-arm transmission assembly, reinforced to withstand the continuous cyclic loads generated by long-term throttling regulation of control valves. This double-acting rotary actuator supports supply gas pressure as high as 400 psig (2758 kPa). Its high-pressure rating brings two key engineering advantages: system designers are able to specify compact, smaller actuator sizes to shrink installation footprint, and the unit is fully compatible with Baker Hughes proprietary Bleed to Pressure (BPS) gas recovery solution.
